One person. That's the product.
In person across London. Anywhere in the UK on request. Remote worldwide.
I'm Zain, a London-based SEO consultant and WordPress developer. ZainSEO is not an agency, and that isn't a limitation I'm apologising for; it's the entire design. When you hire an agency, you meet the best person in the building once, at the pitch. When you hire me, the person from the pitch is the person doing the work, because there's nobody else to hand it to.
For a while I considered building this into an agency. I decided against it, deliberately. The moment I hire juniors and take on more clients than I can personally serve, I become the thing this practice exists as an alternative to. So the promise is simple and structural: every audit, every keyword decision, every technical fix, every report, written by the person whose name is on the domain.
My background is unusual for this industry in a useful way. I hold a BS in Software Engineering, which means I read websites the way search engines crawl them, markup, redirects, render performance, not the way a marketer skims them. In 2025 I completed an MSc in Digital Marketing in London, which put formal method under the practice. And for more than five years I've done the quiet work of managing client sites: updates, backups, rescues, rebuilds. Not glamorous, but it's why nothing breaks on my watch.
Day to day, I also lead in-house tech work at a London law firm, the same firm whose Google reviews went from 3.8 to 4.1 with over 100 new reviews in two weeks, a project you can read about on the portfolio page. Working inside a real business, with real customers and real stakes, keeps my advice grounded in what actually moves enquiries rather than what looks good on a dashboard.
I'm building this practice in public. Live projects are named, statuses are honest, and if something is in progress the site says in progress. If you want polished sales fluff, plenty of agencies will sell you that. If you want someone who will look at your site, tell you the truth about it, and only take the work if I genuinely think I can help, that's the part I'm trying to do well.

How I work: the principles behind every engagement
Honesty over optimism
If your site doesn't need SEO, the free audit says so. If a Google Business Profile reinstatement looks unrecoverable, I say so before you pay anything. If a month's work didn't move the numbers, the report says that too. Optimistic reporting is how the industry keeps clients; honest reporting is how I intend to keep mine.
Data over instinct
Every keyword recommendation comes with real search volume behind it. Every technical claim comes from an actual crawl of your site. Professional SEO tooling isn’t cheap, and I pay for it so that "trust me" never has to be the argument.
White-hat, always
No bought reviews, no link schemes, no AI content farms, no tricks that work until the next Google update. Everything I build, reviews systems, content, profiles, is built to survive scrutiny, because it's real. The shortcuts get businesses suspended, and I won't take them.
Small by design
I take on a limited number of clients at a time, it’s the only way "I do the work personally" stays true rather than becoming a slogan. If I’m at capacity, I’ll tell you when a slot opens instead of quietly lowering the standard.
The short version
Software engineering degree, I read sites like a crawler.
MSc Digital Marketing, London, 2025, method, not trends.
WordPress care since before it was a service I sold.
Named clients, real numbers, honest statuses.
