SEO and website management for Hounslow businesses
Hounslow runs on people passing through. Airport staff on shift patterns, crews with one night before a rotation, families heading out of Terminal 5 at six in the morning, drivers and freight firms working to someone else's timetable. Almost nobody in that mix is going to discover your business slowly, sign up to your newsletter, and consider you over a few months. They search for what they need, they need it now, and they pick from whatever Google puts in front of them.
So the job here is not brand building. It is being the result that appears at the moment of need, with correct opening hours, a number that works, and enough recent reviews to look like a safe choice at 5am. The second job is that most Hounslow businesses I speak to are owner-run with nobody handling any of this, which is why website management sells harder in this area than SEO does.
In person across London. Anywhere in the UK on request. Remote worldwide.
What businesses here usually need
Nobody owns the website
The site was built four years ago by a cousin, a former employee, or an agency that stopped answering. Nobody has the hosting login. Plugins are years out of date, the SSL certificate expired at some point, and the owner finds out when a customer mentions the browser warning. This is the most common conversation I have in this area, and it is a maintenance problem before it is a search problem.
The hours are wrong
Around Heathrow, opening hours are not decoration. Someone searching at 5am or 11pm is deciding whether to walk to you or give up, and a listing that says closed when you are open loses that customer silently. Bank holidays, early starts, late finishes and airport shift patterns all need to be on the profile and correct, which takes somebody actually maintaining it.
No time to be the marketing person
Owner-run means the person who would do the marketing is also doing the accounts, the rota, the ordering and the actual work. It is not a lack of interest. There is genuinely no hour in the day for it. What sells here is not a strategy deck, it is somebody reliable taking a recurring job off the list permanently.
Local SEO, plus someone who just handles it
These two arrive together in Hounslow, which is why they lead as a pair rather than separately. The local SEO side is the findable-at-the-moment-of-need work: the Google Business Profile rebuilt and kept accurate, correct hours including the awkward ones, service pages that match what people actually type, and reviews arriving steadily enough that you look current.
The management side is what makes it stick. Updates applied and tested, weekly off-site backups, security and uptime watched, and a set number of content edits each month so when your hours change for a bank holiday you send me a line and it is done. You are not logging into anything. You are not learning WordPress. That is the actual product for an owner-run business here, and it starts at £65 a month.
Longevity is the relevant proof here
I created the Google Business Profile for Sheraz Sports Motra and have managed it without a break for five years. It still ranks top of local results in its area. If what you want is somebody who will still be handling this in three years rather than disappearing after four months, that is the record to judge me on.
More than five years maintaining client sites, including sites I did not build and inherited in a bad state with no documentation and no working logins. Recovering access, auditing what is installed, and getting a neglected site back to healthy is ordinary work rather than an emergency.
Content edits are counted, not clocked, so you know exactly what your plan includes: four a month on Essential, ten on Care, twenty on Care Plus. You email the change, I make it. There is no ticket portal and no account manager between the two of us.
What else I can take off your hands
In the order that usually makes sense for a Hounslow business, rather than the order that suits me.
Listed separately here because in this area Google Business Profile work is often the only search work a business needs. Posts going out, hours kept correct through every bank holiday and shift change, questions answered before a competitor answers them for you, photos refreshed, and reviews responded to. It sits inside the SEO tiers rather than being sold alone, and on the Starter tier it can be the single pillar you pick.
One page for the one thing you want more of: airport transfers, long-stay parking, a late-night service, a specific route. Written and built so someone on a phone in a hurry can see the price and tap to call without reading anything. Useful when you have a clear offer, unnecessary when you do not.
Last, and honestly last for a reason. A customer base that is transient and searching at the moment of need is better reached through search than through a feed, because they are not browsing Instagram while deciding where to park. Worth it for a genuine local offer to residents rather than passing trade. There is a minimum ad spend, and if it is not there I will tell you.
If the existing site can be recovered, recovering it is cheaper and keeps the rankings you have. When it genuinely cannot, a rebuild maps a redirect for every old URL so nothing is lost in the move. Either way you get the logins, the hosting and the accounts in your own name at the end, which is the thing that went wrong the first time.
What it costs
Every price is a starting point, and every service page has the full tiers. No contracts. Cancel any time.
Asked in Hounslow
Nobody has the login for our website. Can you still help?
Usually yes, and it is a weekly occurrence rather than an unusual one. Ownership can normally be traced back through the domain registrar and the hosting company with the right paperwork, and from there access can be recovered. If the site genuinely cannot be reached, rebuilding on a domain you control is the fallback, with redirects so you keep the rankings the old pages had. Either way it ends with the accounts in your name.
We are open at hours most businesses are not. Does that actually matter?
Around Heathrow it matters more than almost anything else on the profile. Someone searching at 5am is choosing between businesses that say open and businesses that say closed, and Google shows that status prominently. Correct hours, including early starts, late finishes and every bank holiday, is unglamorous maintenance that directly decides whether the phone rings.
Our customers are mostly passing through and never come back. Is SEO still worth it?
It is worth more, not less. A business relying on repeat local custom can survive on word of mouth. A business relying on people who have never heard of it and will never return has to be found cold, at the moment of need, by a stranger with no reason to prefer you. That is exactly what search does, and it is why I would put your money here before a feed-based channel.
What does 'someone who just handles it' actually mean in practice?
It means one email address and no admin on your side. Updates, backups, security and uptime happen without you being told each time. When something needs changing you send a sentence and I make the change, within the edit allowance on your plan. Once a month you get a summary you can read in thirty seconds. You never log in, and nothing is waiting for your approval.
